A poster can bring a subject and a color to a bathroom, but choosing the location matters as much as the artwork. The printed paper must be kept away from water and condensation.
1Start with a suitable location
Avoid splash zones near the shower, the bathtub or the sink. Ventilation is not enough to guarantee that the print and its frame will never be exposed to moisture. Observe the walls and glass after the room is used; if condensation is frequent where you plan to hang it, display the poster in another room instead.
A frame with glass or acrylic is not automatically a waterproof setup. Don’t rely on a general promise of water resistance to choose a paper or a fixing: check the specifications of the items you actually buy.
2Compare subjects and colors
The bathroom posters let you explore a retro look. You can also compare the seaside scenes or the plant illustrations with the color of your tiles, linens and furniture.
3Measure the usable space
Note the mirrors, lighting and storage before choosing the size. Test the outline of the frame with a paper template, then check the sizes offered on the product page. A small room doesn’t automatically call for an A4; the free space and the viewing distance matter more.
