about this poster

Japanese cherry blossom branch poster, “SAKURA SEASON”

A Japanese cherry tree in bloom fills the left of this poster, its branches heavy with pale pink and white flowers stretching across the light blue sky. At the foot of the tree, a paved path leads to a small tile-roofed pavilion, near a stone lantern, in front of blue mountains. 2 walkers in Japanese dress stroll side by side, giving depth to this vertical composition. The title “SAKURA SEASON” celebrates cherry blossom season. The drawing is fine, the colors light, and the whole scene radiates serenity.

A soothing Japanese poster for the bedroom

Its delicate pinks and sky blue suit a bedroom, an entryway, a calm living room or a meditation corner. The portrait format sits nicely above a nightstand, a bench or a small console. It echoes light wood, bamboo, rice paper, gray linen and glazed ceramics. With other posters of Japan, it can make up a cohesive wall. It is a lovely gift for a Japan lover, a traveler who has experienced hanami, or anyone who loves soft, serene decor.

Your questions

What does “SAKURA SEASON” mean?

Sakura is the Japanese word for cherry blossom. The title refers to the period when the cherry trees bloom, which the poster illustrates with a flowering cherry tree above a paved path leading to a small pavilion.

Who should I give this Japanese cherry tree poster to?

It will delight a Japan lover, someone who has traveled there in spring, or anyone who appreciates flowers and calm atmospheres. It suits a bedroom or a zen corner well.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
