King René Tower in Marseille
This poster depicts the King René Tower of Fort Saint-Jean at the entrance to the Old Port, with its pink and beige stone, battlements and small windows. The deep-blue sky contrasts with the blue water stretching to the bottom of the image. A few people sit on the quay while a white boat passes in front of the tower, beneath the title “VIEUX-PORT”.
