the story of the poster
« MARSEILLE »
This poster depicts Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde viewed from the sea, with its basilica, bell tower and gilded statue crowning the hill. Below, the cream and ochre houses of Endoume, the white buildings and the long arched stone viaduct stand out against the Marseilleveyre hills, while the deep-blue, choppy sea fills the lower part of the image beneath a clear, sunny sky. It is presented under the title “MARSEILLE”.
It fits beautifully in a living room, hallway or bedroom with a seaside feel. It makes a lovely gift for anyone with a special connection to Marseille or Mediterranean landscapes.
