Twin-engine airliner over Monument Valley poster

Airliner over “Monument Valley” poster

At the very top of the image, a silver twin-engine airliner, striped in red, flies over the red sandstone buttes of Monument Valley. Below, two travelers sitting on a red sand dune gaze at the vastness, near an old fence post and clumps of sagebrush. This American West poster plays with scale: the tiny plane, the even smaller figures, and the landscape that dwarfs everything. Brick red, sage green and sky blue make up the palette. The title “Monument Valley” underlines this grand setting.

The American West for an office or a traveler

In portrait format, it hangs well in an office, a living room, a library or a bedroom, and its warm reds stand out on a white or sand-colored wall. It pairs with leather, raw wood, Navajo rugs and potted cacti. It can join other aviation posters or posters of wide-open American landscapes. It makes a gift for a traveler back from a road trip in the West, an aviation enthusiast, a western fan or someone who dreams of the great American national parks.
